Recycle or Not to Recycle - The Program

All recycling must be rinsed out completely void of food or liquid.   PLEASE DO NOT PLACE ANY CONTAINERS OF CHEWING TABACCO RESIDUE IN RECYCLING THAT HASN'T BEEN RINSED AND IS COMPLETELY CLEAN.  Thank you.

Please put all like materials together in one barrel.  Example: All plastics together in one barrel etc.  Please make sure that no one is trespassing on your property to collect your recyclables other than FeinSum Housing.

Plastics

All plastics are recyclable.  Examples could be: Soda bottles, milk jugs, juice or water bottles and detergent bottles.  Excluding: Plastic cups, desert containers, egg cartons, plastic bags, packing material etc.

Aluminum

All aluminum is recyclable.  Examples could be: soda cans and aluminum trays.

Tin

All tin is recyclable.  Examples could be: can vegetables or canned food

Glass

All brown, clear, green glass.  Glass must be separated by color at the residence.

Cardboard

Only cardboard.  Please break all boxes down so they are flat.  Please remove any items, from your cardboard, that is not cardboard.  Examples could be: boxes and soda 12 packaging. 

Newspapers and magazines

please pile all newspapers and magazines in a neat stack for pickup

Other Noteworthy Stuff

Plastic bags are accepted at the local grocery and Walmart stores.  You may return them there.  We do not pick these up for recycling.

If you have a question if something is recyclable…just ask.  Please also make sure that those visiting you know that you recycle.

Please do not move the recycling barrels unless you have been give permission from FeinSum Housing.  These are placed where they are for easy pickup.
