Q: What
utilities am I responsible to pay?

Q: Why
doesn’t my electricity work?
A: {1}
If electricity is your responsibility make sure PPL has
provided service to your unit. {2} If so, or FeinSum is
responsible for electricity, make sure the breakers on in the
on position in the breaker box- usually a grey colored box
mounted chest high some where out of the way in the unit. {3}
If you still have no electricity please call our offices.

Q: What do I
do if I smell gas?
A:
If you have a gas stove the pilot light may be extinguished.
Lift off the top of the stove by pulling gently and relight
the pilot light with a match or lighter. The oven may also
have a pilot light which is usually located in the very back
top of the oven. If you still smell gas call PG Energy at the
number above.

Q: Can my
friends or family park in my lot?
A: Only with a valid pass.

Q: Do I need
to vacate my apartment over Penn College breaks?
A: Yes. You must vacate for the winter and summer
breaks. A special lease can be drafted for those months.
You do not, however, need to remove your belongings (except
food) during winter breaks. You will not be required to
remove your belongings (except food), during the summer break,
if you are renewing a lease for the following fall or you have
a Summer Lease that is approved by FeinSum Housing.
Everything must be cleaned before you leave for
break...including stove, frig etc.

Q: When can
I move in?
A: FeinSum Housing allows residents to move in
during dates and times provided by email.

Q: Who
changes the light bulbs?
A: As
a resident, you will be responsible for any light bulbs that
are needed after move-in. Please replace them with wattage
and type that is recommended for the fixture.

Q: What do I
do if my toilet is running?
A: Lift
off the top of the water tank. Make sure the chain that lifts
the flap is not tangled. If it is tangled- gently untangle
and seat the flap securely in the drain located at the bottom
of the tank.

Q: When and
where do I pick-up and drop off my keys?
A: There
are two days designated for key pick up. Please contact our office, a week prior to your
scheduled move-in, to ensure you’re your house is ready for
you. Please make sure that you drop off all keys to the FeinSum office once your apartment is ready for final
inspection. A per key fee is charged for any non returned
keys.

Q: What do I
do if I lock myself out of my apartment?
A: Call
the office – we will let you in. There is a $10.00, during
office hour, fee to come and unlock your door. There is a
$25.00 fee for after business hours lock outs. Either fee
will be collected when your door is unlocked.

Q: When
are my installments due?
A: Your
installments are due a month before school starts. Your
first payment is June 1st and your last installment is due
November 1st.

Q: Are
pets allowed?
A: No.
There is $100 fine for pets found at the premises.

Q: How
does FeinSum communicate information to Lease Holders?
A: Feinsum
communicates exclusively through the email accounts that you
provided us during registration. It is the parents and
students sole responsibility to provide Feinsum with email
accounts which are valid. Please know that Feinsum will
not be responsible for any communications not received due to
improper email address. It is the responsibility of the
RESIDENT and PARENT to ensure that Feinsum has a working email
for all lease holders.
